If you want delicious Thai cuisine, you have to pay a visit to Lemongrass. The cuisine is top-notch, the setting elegant, and always appetizing. In fact, a friend and I visited the restaurant in the Annapolis location for a wonderful evening. The ambiance is delightful with soft lighting, and very cozy, perfect for a romantic evening with your sweetheart.
To start, we had an appetizer of fresh garden rolls. For the entree, Pad Thai Tofu, and to finish a dessert of mango with sticky rice, a house specialty. The succulent tofu, with bean sprouts, noodles, an array of vegetables, with crushed peanuts to garnish is excellent and very tasty. All of the cuisine is sumptuous, and the mango with sticky rice is a must-try.
As a bonus, they allowed me to sample Gang puk a smooth, creamy and spicy dish which is flavorful. It's a coconut based stew with a variety of vegetables, like carrots- that is very appetizing. And to top it all off, the location is ideal, situated on main street in Annapolis. The conversation, always intriguing. A perfect way to end the week.
See for yourself, experience Lemongrass, a flavorful journey into Thai cuisine. It's fine dining and definitely worth the drive. Until next time, keep dining and enjoy life.

Fine Dining: A Food Blog
It's the weekend and it's that time again, yes it's dinner. What should you eat? How about a quick meal, for a reasonable price. That's when I decided on a restaurant that is budget-friendly and serves up tasty cuisine. So we're off- for a quick and delicious meal at Red Robin. As we're seated, I start with a beverage- a ginger ale and then right to the main course- a burger with all the toppings. It's piled high with pickles, onions, mushrooms- to name a few, it's a burger deluxe, except this burger is no ordinary burger, it's vegetarian. It's a hearty meal for a hungry food writer. And what a burger it is, one thing I like about this place is the family- friendly atmosphere and the eclectic decor.
As we're sitting down to dinner, you can't help but notice the art deco feel with a framed poster of B.B. King, and vintage photos of classic cars. It's such an eclectic variety of nick-knacks that as you're feasting, the decor creates a nice ambiance, which is reminiscent of the 1950's. As we partake in the meal, the fries compliment the veggie burger- in fact, spuds never tasted so good.
When you visit, bring your appetite. The menu offers a variety of gourmet burgers at a reasonable price. The freckled lemonade is a must-try, a signature beverage for the eatery. Although it's not exactly fine dining, it is good food and the check is under $12. How's that for "dining on a dime." Until next time, remember to keep dining and enjoy life.

Fine Dining: A Food Blog
On a bright and airy Sunday afternoon, I settled down for a light lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. Instead of pizza, I opted for a salad, a nice meal for the warm weather. The first course is delectable with hummus and fresh basil, diced tomatoes, with pita bread for an appetizer, magnifique! Traditionally, a Mediterranean dish. Their take on it, the pita bread lightly seasoned with fresh basil, and hummus is scrumptious.
For the main course, a grilled vegetable salad with sun dried tomatoes, avocado, roasted corn, Japanese eggplant, zucchini, lettuce and asparagus tops it off, the piece de resistance. I added mushrooms, and fresh ground pepper to enhance the flavor. And for a decadent dessert, I had the red velvet cake, delicious. Rich and creamy and oh so very good. The presentation is excellent for all courses, especially the dessert, with the vanilla bean icing drizzled on the plate.
It's a casual dining atmosphere at this restaurant. In fact, it makes you think of those nice times with good friends, over good conversation, enjoying delicious cuisine. The restaurant, is warm and inviting, and the food is delicious. Although it was a light lunch, it still serves a purpose, and I enjoyed the dining experience. The surroundings are beautiful, with artwork accenting the walls that are inviting, and colorful. So stop by and enjoy a delicious salad, or other popular items and of course don't forget to request their speciality, the gourmet pizza. Until next time, keep dining and enjoy life.
